About the Role We are looking for a hands-on F&A & HR Manager to support the day-to-day operations of our US entity. This role is responsible for finance, accounting, payroll, HR, and general administration, ensuring smooth and compliant business operations. As a standalone position, you will take full ownership of operational tasks and work closely with the Korea HQ. This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable handling a wide range of responsibilities and executing tasks independently in a fast-paced environment.
1. Key Responsibilities Finance & Accounting • Manage day-to-day accounting operations (AR/AP, GL, month-end closing) • Prepare financial reports and support HQ reporting • Support tax filings and audits with required documentation • Monitor expenses and support basic budgeting
Payroll & HR Operations • Manage end-to-end payroll processing in-house or payroll vendor • Handle onboarding, offboarding, and employee records • Support employee relations and basic HR processes • Ensure compliance with US labor laws (federal and California)
Administration & Operations • Manage contracts, documentation, and basic office operations • Support compliance and regulatory requirements • Coordinate with Korea HQ and support day-to-day operations
2. Qualifications • 5–9 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, HR, or Operations roles • Hands-on experience in payroll processing and general accounting • Basic understanding of US labor laws and compliance requirements • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities independently • Strong attention to detail and execution capability • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment • Effective communication skills, especially in cross-border collaboration
3. Preferred Qualifications • Experience in retail, fashion, or consumer brands • Experience in a small team or standalone operational role • Familiarity with California labor environment • Korean language skills preferred
