Job Position: Equipment Installation and Maintenance Technician
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Nexien provides project services for the government agencies. We are looking to hire a skilled engineer for the maintenance of equipment such as turnstiles. To ensure to be a success as a equipment maintenance technician, a candidate must have extensive knowledge of these types of hardware and software, the ability to work well under pressure and demonstrate high-level problem-solving skills. An outstanding maintenance technician should be able to service, troubleshoot, and repair equipment without causing extended equipment downtime.
Employment type: W-2 Fulltime
Work days: Mon - Fri (Weekend rotation would be needed)
Shift: 1st or 2nd or 3rd
Responsibilities · Perform corrective and preventive maintenance of the equipment such as turnstile. . Perform equipment installation as a team . Monitor the hardware and software through the monitoring system · Conduct field service visits to inspect, test, and repair equipment · Work at the job site at a shift per the team manager’s direction. · Deliver the parts from the storage to the metro stations or from the stations to the storage. · Work with a subcontractor and the client · Writing Reports using MS Word and Excel · Report to work punctually · Other tasks assigned by the team manager
Qualifications · Able to follow direction of the supervisor · Able to use hand tools · Able to troubleshoot equipment · Able to lift up to 40 lbs · Must have good attendance. Tardiness or frequent absenteeism may cause the termination. · Customer oriented mind. · Familiar with MS Word and Excel. . Familiar with computer and software · Associate degree or higher is preferred . Bi-lingual(Korean, English) is preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
