Customs Brokerage Manager Location: Casron, CA Apply at: https://job-boards.greenhouse.io/apacchb/jobs/4618506006 Responsibilities: – Lead and oversee the customs brokerage department including the team of entry writers, ensuring that operational goals and KPIs are met. – Manage the entire import clearance workflow: from customs entries and ISF filings to broker relationships, audits, billing, and client communications. – Ensure compliance with all applicable U.S. customs regulations, partner government agencies, trade policies, and company SOPs. – Review and improve department processes: work distribution, quality control, performance measurement and continuous improvement. – Train, coach, and evaluate team members, manage staffing, workflow capacity, and performance metrics. – Act as escalation point for complex or high-risk shipments, broker disputes, compliance issues, and audit findings. – Partner with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Legal teams to support new account onboarding, client growth, and service delivery. – Maintain and enhance customs clearance systems, reporting tools, data analytics, and entry tracking. – Provide regular management reports on department performance, cost control, and compliance status. Qualifications: – Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Logistics, or a related field is preferred. – Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in customs brokerage or international trade operations, including at least 2-3 years in a management or supervisory capacity. – Strong expertise in U.S. customs laws and regulations (19 CFR, HTS classifications, PGAs, duty/valuation, etc.). – Demonstrated leadership and team-management skills, ability to build and develop high-performing teams. – Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision making skills. – Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. – Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint – Experience with customs/brokerage systems preferred. – Bilingual in Korean and English is required. Salary: $90,000 – $100,000 per Salary, depending on experience.
